Because something worn every day, against the skin, close to the pulse, can be so much more than just decoration.
Helena spent years in the world of rituals and belief. Observing the objects people reach for at thresholds, in grief, in love, in beginning again. David works the copper by hand, at one bench in Vancouver, until it holds the shape they imagined.
Copper is soft enough to remember. It warms, it darkens, it takes on the particular weather of the person wearing it. Wear a piece for a season and it becomes yours in a way it could never be anyone else's.
That's what we're making. Not something to add to you. A way back to yourself.
